Welcome to the Graphics Contest for the members of RDB Graphics PSP Group.  Each month, the members will complete a specified tutorial and create a graphic according to the contest specifications.   The contest begins on the first of each month and the deadline for submitting your result is the 20th of the same month.  Then the members are given a page to view the results and vote.  Only members of RDB Graphics may vote.  The winner of the contest will be awarded a graphic award.

Contest for January 2007

1.  Download this zipped file:  http://byudragon.com/Zip/Peacocks.zip .  It contains tubes of peacocks that you may use, or you may use a peacock tube of your choice.

2.  You will create a membership tag for the group.  The winner's card will then be used as the membership graphic for the year.  Your graphic must meet these requirements:

a.  The width must be 375 pixels.

b.  The height must be 300 pixels..

c.  The content of the graphic must contain peacocks.  Do not put any writing on it, but be sure that you have left room for me to add:  "RDB Graphics PSP Group" and for the new members to add their names.

d.  The graphic may NOT have your name anywhere on the graphic, nor your watermark-- so that the owner of the graphic is not recognizable when the group votes.  Do not send them to the group!  You may only submit ONE.

e.  You may save the graphic as a JPEG or a GIF.  Psp or other extensions are not permissable.  Please ATTACH to your email (not embed).

f.  You must email your submission for the contest to me directly at:  RDBgraphics-owner@yahoogroups.com  with the subject line stating:  PSP CONTEST.  You must include your NAME in the email.  Do NOT send them to the group!

g.  Entries must be emailed to the owner by the 20th of the same month of the contest.  Do NOT send them to the group!  You will receive a confirmation email that the graphic was received.

3.  The owner/mods will delete any submitted entry that does not meet all of the above requirements.   It is up to the member to make sure that the requirements are met.
