Curled Overlay tag

This tutorial is intended for a beginner to learn how to make a curled overlay. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. To do this tutorial you will also need Photoshop CS - CS3. You may download a free trial at Adobe. Remember to save as a .psd file often! This needs no plugins!
1. Open up the photo that you wish to use. Image > Duplicate. Close the original. 2. Image > Resize. Set the longest side to no more than 400 pixels. 3. Layer > New > Layer
4. Set foreground to a medium gray, and background to white.
5. Filter > Render > Clouds
6. Choose the Polygonal Lasso Tool
7. Left-click once, to start a triangle cut on one of the corners. Left-click a second time to make the second corner of the triangle. Left-click a third time to make the third corner of the triangle. Then bring the cursor back to the original point and watch carefully. When you get back to the original point, the cursor will have a circle by it. When that happens, right-click and the selection triangle should be made.
8. Edit > Cut . Edit > Paste. Your image should look like below.
9. Edit > Transform > Flip Horizontal.
10. Edit > Transform > Flip Vertical
11. Use the mover tool to move the corner into position, like below.
12. Edit > Transform > Warp
13. Pull the nodes (with pink arrows inward to curve those two sides. When you're happy with it, press the check at the top to apply
14. Right-click on the layer and choose Blending Options. Click on the WORDS Drop Shadow, and choose Blend Mode = Normal, black, opacity = 75%, angle = 30, distance = 4, spread = 4, size =10
15. Slide the opacity of the layer to 63%
