Selecting Hidden Items
(the scene tab)

This tutorial was created for some friends of mine who wanted to begin learning more about DAZ Studio.  It is intended for beginners to learn how to items in the scene that are hidden using the scene tab.  If you have any questions, please feel free to Email  me.

To do this tutorial you will also need DAZ Studio.

1.  Open DAZ and make a figure.  I chose to use the Infamous outfit for Aiko, but you can use any outfit that has layers -- like a skirt over panties, or a long skirt that hides shoes, something like that.

2.  Now in the picture below, I want to change the textures on the boots, but I can't select them.  The skirt hides the boots, and if I click I choose the skirt.

3.  You can see all the items you have used in the scene tab.  Click on the scene tab.

4.  Now scroll until you find the item that you want to select.  So I looked for the Inf-Boots item.  Click on the item, and that will select it.

Now you can go on and change the texture.

This is a good way to select the head of a doll when the hair or hat or something is in the way.  Just click on the plus sign to open up the items list to see the bones of that figure.
