Dragon by Selections
A Cute Dragonet, part 2.

26.  Open the saved dragonetcolors.psp file you made from part 1.  Press Shift +D to make a duplicate.  Close the original.  Save the duplicate as Dragonet.psp.  (We are keeping the flat colored one so that you can easily change colors if you decide to.)

27.  In the Layer Palette, click on backhorn to highlight and activate that layer.

28.  In the top menu bar, click on Effects--Noise--Add.  Set the % to 5% and uniform, and click ok.

29.  While still in the same layer, in the top menu, click Selections--Select All.  Then in top menu, click Selections--float.

30.  The backhorn should be selected.  Now in the top menu, click Effects--3D Effects--Cutout.  Apply these settings:  Vertical=0, horizontal=4, opacity=60, Blur =12.5, color= #400400 (or a darker shade of whatever color you used for your dragon).  In top menu, click Selections--None.

31.  In Layer Palette, highlight and activate the backforeleg layer.  In the top menu, click Effects--Noise--Add. Apply 5% and uniform.

In top menu, click Selections--Select All.  Then click Selections--float.  Then click Effects--3D Effects--cutout.  Apply the same cutout settings. 

In top menu, click Selections--none.

32.  In Layer Palette, highlight and activate the bakforefoot layer.  In the top menu, click Effects--Noise--Add. Apply 5% and uniform.

In top menu, click Selections--Select All.  Then click Selections--float.  Then click Effects--3D Effects--cutout.  Apply the same cutout settings. 

In top menu, click Selections--none.

33.  In Layer Palette, highlight and activate the tailtip layer.  In the top menu, click Effects--Noise--Add. Apply 5% and uniform.

In top menu, click Selections--Select All.  Then click Selections--float.  Then click Effects--3D Effects--cutout.  Apply the same cutout settings. 

In top menu, click Selections--none.

34.  In Layer Palette, highlight and activate the back layer.  In the top menu, click Effects--Noise--Add. Apply 5% and uniform.

In top menu, click Selections--Select All.  Then click Selections--float.  Then click Effects--3D Effects--cutout.  Apply the same cutout settings, except change the blur to 25

In top menu, click Selections--none.

35.  In Layer Palette, highlight and activate the backleg layer.  In the top menu, click Effects--Noise--Add. Apply 5% and uniform.

In top menu, click Selections--Select All.  Then click Selections--float.  Then click Effects--3D Effects--cutout.  Apply the same cutout settings. 

In top menu, click Selections--none.

36.  In Layer Palette, highlight and activate the backfoot  layer.  In the top menu, click Effects--Noise--Add. Apply 5% and uniform.

In top menu, click Selections--Select All.  Then click Selections--float.  Then click Effects--3D Effects--cutout.  Apply the same cutout settings. 

In top menu, click Selections--none.

37.  In Layer Palette, highlight and activate the foreleg layer.  In the top menu, click Effects--Noise--Add. Apply 5% and uniform.

In top menu, click Selections--Select All.  Then click Selections--float.  Then click Effects--3D Effects--cutout.  Apply the same cutout settings. 

In top menu, click Selections--none.

38.  In Layer Palette, highlight and activate the forefoot layer.  In the top menu, click Effects--Noise--Add. Apply 5% and uniform.

In top menu, click Selections--Select All.  Then click Selections--float.  Then click Effects--3D Effects--cutout.  Apply the same cutout settings. 

In top menu, click Selections--none.

39.  In Layer Palette, highlight and activate the head layer.  In the top menu, click Effects--Noise--Add. Apply 5% and uniform.

In top menu, click Selections--Select All.  Then click Selections--float.  Then click Effects--3D Effects--cutout.  Apply the same cutout settings. 

In top menu, click Selections--none.

40.  In Layer Palette, highlight and activate the nearhorn layer.  In the top menu, click Effects--Noise--Add. Apply 5% and uniform.

In top menu, click Selections--Select All.  Then click Selections--float.  Then click Effects--3D Effects--cutout.  Apply the same cutout settings. 

In top menu, click Selections--none.

41.  In Layer Palette, highlight and activate the jaw layer.  In the top menu, click Effects--Noise--Add. Apply 5% and uniform.

In top menu, click Selections--Select All.  Then click Selections--float.  Then click Effects--3D Effects--cutout.  Apply the same cutout settings. 

In top menu, click Selections--none.

42.  In Layer Palette, highlight and activate the brow layer.  In the top menu, click Effects--Noise--Add. Apply 5% and uniform.

In top menu, click Selections--Select All.  Then click Selections--float.  Then click Effects--3D Effects--cutout.  Apply the same cutout settings. 

In top menu, click Selections--none.

43.  Save.  Your dragonet should now look like the picture below.  *S* It's starting to look 3-dimensional!

44.  In the Layer Palette, highlight and activate the pupil layer.  In the top menu, click Effects--3D Effects--Inner Bevel.  Apply these settings:  bevel=pie, width=14, smoothness=15, depth=12, ambience=0, shininess=50, color=white, angle=57, intensity=50, elevation=30.  Click ok.

45.  In the Layer Palette, highlight and activate the mouth layer.  Apply the same inner bevel as in Step.  #44.   SAVE.  Your dragonet should look like below.
