Draped Glitter Tag

This tutorial is intended for beginners to learn how to create a glitter effect. If you have any questions, please feel free to Email me. To do this tutorial you will also need Paint Shop Pro. I wrote this with Paint Shop Pro X2, but the steps may also be done in any version. You may download a free trial at Corel. Remember to save as a psp file often! Download Supplies. Download The Greg's Factory Output Vol II > Pool Shadow Plugin. Download the Hole font. 1. Open the Hole font On your desktop and minimize. 2. Open a new, transparent image, size = 400 x 300 3. Flood-fill the background with a dark blue (or color of your choice. If you use black, use a charcoal black). 4. Effects > 3D Effects > Plugins > Greg's Factory Output Vol. II > Pool Shadow. Apply these settings: 50, 50, 49, 50, 50, 231, 109, 13
5. Choose the text tool. set font = HOLE, size = 144 pixels, Create as Vector. Set foreground = none, background = a silver gradient. Set the gradient at linear, angle = 45.
6. Type the year: 2008 7. In the Layer Palette, right-click on the year layer and choose Convert to Raster Layer.
8. Adjust > Noise > Add Noise. Set: Gaussian, Noise = 50%, CHECK Monochrome
9. Layers > New Raster Layer.
10. Open the silver pearl tube and load it into the picture tube tool. (file > export > picture tube,).11. Choose the picture tube, and the silver pear set at scale 10.
11. Left-click in different places on the tag.
12. Now load the white pearl tube. Choose the white pearl, and add a few more pearls 13. Image > Add Borders > symmetric, size = 3, color = white
14. With the magic wand, select the white border. Apply the same silver paint.
15. Adjust > Noise > Add Noise of 25
16. Add your watermark and text.
17. Save as a JPEG-- File > Export > Jpeg OPtimizer.
