Eggs
I wrote this tutorial on my own. Any similarity to another tutorial is purely coincidental. I claim the copyright to my tutorial. This tutorial is intended for a beginner to learn about making eggs. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. To do this tutorial you will also need Photoshop CS or CS2. You may download a free trial at Adobe. Remember to save as a .psd file often! 1. Open the image that you wish to use on your egg. Use the ellipse selection tool and draw an ellipse selection on your image. Edit > Copy
2. File > New image (the size will automatically be set to correct size. Edit > Paste.
3. Edit > Transform Warp. Move the top left node inward and down a little. Do the same with the top right node. Place CHECK at top of screen when you are ready to apply the warp.
4. Right-click on egg layer and choose Blending Options. Click on words INNER SHADOW. Apply these settings: Multiply, black, opacity = 75%, angle = 120, distance = 5, choke = 0, size = 51.
5. Layer > new > Layer
6. Choose the brush tool, set to size= 12 - 20, color = WHITE draw some "shine" arcs like in picture below.
7. Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur. Radius = 10, or adjust to your liking.
8. Save your eggs as a PSD image to use in a basket later. Save it as a GIF to share with the group by itself.
