Encircle Wreath
I own the intellectual copyright for the written tutorial. What you make is yours, but please do not take my tutorial. Share only my link. This tutorial is intended for a beginner to learn how to use a plugin. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. To do this tutorial you will also need Photoshop CS3 - CS4. You may download a free trial at Adobe. Remember to save as a .psd file often! Download and install MuRa's Copies plugin 1. You will need 5 - 6 tubes of flowers, leaves or whatever you want to use to make as the "bouquet" of your wreath. I used some autumn leaves, a pumpkin and some nuts. 2. Open a new, transparent image, size 500 x 500 pixels. 3. Resize each tube so that it is no bigger than 500 pixels (Image > Resize). Then on each tube: Select > Select All, Edit > Copy 4. Click back on your blank image. Edit > Paste. Do this for each tube.
5. With the mover tool arrange the tubes to make a "bouquet". 6. Right-click on top layer and choose Merge Visible. 7. Image > Resize. Resize so that width & height = 100 pixels 8. Image > Canvas Size . Change size to width = 800, height = 800. Center Placement
9. Filter > MuRa's Filter Meister > Copies . UNDERNEATH the thumbnail, change the preset to Encircle. Then adjust the number until the tubes touch each other like a wreath. My number = 17. Then click ok.
10. Now, embellish (or decorate your wreath) with other tubes. I added some sprigs of dried grass, and dragged these layers below the wreath layer.
11. Then I added a tube of a fairy and a bow. And I added my text. 12. Save this as a GIF. File > Save As. Set type = Compuserve GIF
