Floating Windows
I own the intellectual copyright for the written tutorial. What you make is yours, but please do not take my tutorial. Share only my link. This tutorial is intended for a beginner to learn how to separate the windows in Photoshop. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. To do this tutorial you will also need Photoshop CS3 - CS4. You may download a free trial at Adobe. Remember to save as a .psd file often!
When you open more than one image in Photoshop CS4, the windows tend to combine into one big file. 1. If you look at the top of the window, you will see the tabs for the 3 images that I opened.
2. If you want these tabbed images to be separate images, click on Window > Arrange > Float All in Windows
