Quick One-Click Color Cast Correction
I wrote this tutorial on my own. Any similarity to another tutorial is purely coincidental. I claim the copyright to my tutorial. You are free to do whatever you please with what you make, but please do not take my tutorial. Do not send the tutorial through email. Only share my link. This tutorial is intended for a beginner to learn about photo editing and correcting color cast. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. To do this tutorial you will also need Photoshop CS or CS2. You may download a free trial at Adobe. Remember to save as a .psd file often! Here's an example of a picture that has color cast. It has a bluish tint to it.
You can read an informational page about what Color Cast is by clicking here. 1. Open a picture that has color cast in Photoshop 2. Image > Adjustments > Match Color
3. In the Match Color window, Place a CHECK in NEUTRALIZE
4. It this washes too much color out of the picture, then #1 -- slide the Fade slider to the right some (but not all the way or you'll be back to where you started) #2 -- Then slide the Color Intensity or Luminance (or both) if still needing more color.
5. When you are happy with the colors, click ok. 6. Save corrected image. Here is what I got. See how Tommy's shirt looks white now instead of blue!
