Transmission Weave Tag

This tutorial was created for some friends of mine who wanted to begin learning more about PSP. It is intended for beginners to learn how to use animation. If you have any questions, please feel free to Email me. To do this tutorial you will also need Paint Shop Pro. I wrote this with Paint Shop Pro X, but the steps may also be done in any version. You may download a free trial at Corel. Remember to save as a psp file often! Download Supplies. Install the plugin into your plugins folder. 1. Open a flower tube of your choice. SHIFT + D to duplicate. Close the original.
2. Effects > Plugins > DSB Flux > Linear Transmission. Apply these settings: Slice size = 33, offset = 25, blend = 1, Vertical.
3. Apply the Linear Transmission filter again, same settings EXCEPT Horizontal.
4. Effects > Plugins > Penta.com > color dot. Apply these setings: 90, 4, 255, 255, 255
5. Slide the opacity of this layer to 65%.
6. Layers > new Raster Layer
7. Flood-fill this layer with a matching color to the tube you will use. Drag this layer to the bottom.
8. Right-click on the layer. Merge > Merge Visible
9. With the magic wand, select some of the blank areas.
10. use the same flower tube as before, or another similar one: Edit > Copy 11. Click back on the background: Edit > Paste into Selection 12. Select some more area, and paste another flower into selections. Repeat this step until you have filled all the blank area.s
13. Open your flower tube (or another one). Edit > Copy. Click back on the background, Edit > Paste as New Layer. Move the tube into position along one of the edges.
14. Right-click on one of the layers and choose Merge > Merge Visible
15. Layers > Load/Save Mask > Load Mask from Disk. Choose one of your favorite Edge Masks.
16. Right-click on the layer and choose Merge > Merge All (Flatten). You need to choose this because part of the picture becomes semi-transparent with the mask.
17. Save this as a JPEG. File > Export > JPEG Optimizer
