A new version of Paint Shop Pro is out:Â Version X3.

I actually got my copy last week, but with being sick for the stomach flu, I just installed it today. Whoa! when I opened it, what a difference! I closed it right back lol

After being sick, I still did not feel with messing with much, and it looked like I would need to work hard on learning something alot different than PSP X2. But after a little rest, I opened it again, and tried opening an image. The image opened and changed the layout of PSP X3 into a layout that was familiar.   So I played around until I figured out how to set the layout to the older version and save it that way.
Here’s my first tutorial for PSP X3:
Setting the Layout to the Full Editor
I’ve played a little more and so far have been able to do everything in PSP I have been doing without any trouble. One of the changes I have noticed is that they have fixed the resize image box. During the last version, the resize box was changed so that it did not maintain the new size you had changed it to. Every time you resized something, you had to enter in a size. Well, now it keeps the last size you entered. Saves typing time.Â
Looks like transition from version X2 to version X3 will be really easy. I’ll be writing tutorials for X3 now, as many things seem to be the same so older versions will be able to use the new tutorials.Â
The new PSP X3 can be found on the Corel site here.
