Happy Thanksgiving

We are having a small gathering at my house with my 2 children and my mother-in-law. My sister-in-law was supposed to come, but she’s sick. So it will be a cozy little gathering this year. I might actually get to enjoy it, since I won’t be spending all my morning cooking. lol We did the dessert baking yesterday.
This week seems to have flown by, without me getting much on my “To Do” list completed. I’ve been working on projects for our Countdown to Christmas activity, but don’t quite have any of them ready. I guess I’ll be doing that tomorrow. Maybe my hubby will let me be. lol
We’ve been “running the roads”, running errands for everything. We attended a memorial service for Tommy’s sister-in-law. We’ve completed last-minute shopping for Thanksgiving. My son has been coming to visit us! I think he misses his mom’s cooking. lol We have also completed most of our Christmas shopping. I was never one to fight the crowds at the holidays, so you will not see me out on Black Friday.
